Oh yes, I can believe it. TDO hacks me off also about their lack of archiving, and they are fast to try and charge for an article that is only a few months old.

I can't remember what the name of the place was. It's not just archiving - they have removed my comments from Cheryl's Forum. I copied exactly what the tv screen at WCTV displayed during their news report but Poof! it's all gone. There's nearly no comments left that refer to that evidence list at TDO. The only ones left refer to the breakfast order ticket from that feed store.

Maybe it will show up archived somewhere or copied at another site. I do recall googling the place and it was in Brevard.

That van - doesn't that raise issues? I asked early on where he got the newer one from. Wonder if Tabor was claiming some business use on his taxes for expenses on that vehicle? Evidently no one wanted to be associated with that van for some reason. It was abandoned in the woods. Some time later it was tagged by the forestry guys, then eventually Hilton was benched for not responded to the ticket. No one got the notices in the mail? Not even the secretaries there at IWS, which was his address? He said he was trying to lay low, so what would keep him from responding to this? I would be interested in seeing if notice was ever sent certified to him. He left that tag on the van, which I can't figure out exactly.

Scrap metal wasn't bringing the price it is now, but he could have easily sold it for salvage. News reports say this vehicle had been the target of gunfire and other vandalism while it was left parked. And wasn't it parked there for quite some time? Stripped pretty bare, I think? Just asking cause I can't remember. Sheezhe I am getting old.

Now, I'm curious if others have had comments pulled from TDO. For some reason the vehicle being abandoned in 2005 sticks out. I know it was last seen in that location in White County, GA in December 2007. Interesting how that van sat on the side of the road for 2 plus years, and then it is towed to some place in Habersham County, GA right around the time of Hilton's arrest.

Tazebell, I guess that brochure from the inn/lodge must have been in entry 162 (numerous papers),
165 (misc. items) or 186 (misc. papers, key; the yellow receipt was swabbed).

Also, this time around looking at the evidence list I noted three (3) yellow jackets:

(37) yellow Novara jacket, unknown
(178) yellow raincoat size L;
(180) yellow jacket w/blood stain

Another human skull was found in Coral Springs, Florida (Broward County)

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- Officials are investigating after a possible human skull was discovered in a Coral Springs canal Friday morning.
The Coral Springs Police Department said a father and son were fishing in a canal behind 190 N.W. 113 Way at about 9:35 a.m. when they noticed what they thought was a coconut or a turtle sitting on the bottom of the canal.
Police said when the man removed the object from the canal using a pool net they noticed it had what they thought was two eye sockets.
The police department recovered several bones located in this culvert back in July 2001. It is too early to determine if the two cases are related.
Results are pending from the Broward County Medical Examiner's Office on whether it is a human skull and if it related to the 2001 incident.

I couldn't help but think of Hilton, because Broward and Dade Counties was his old stomping grounds. Before moving to Georgia he use to live in a house in North Miami (NE 143rd St.) that backed up to a canal. I realize there are many murderers in the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area. I just found the discovery of another human skull disturbing.
