Nublogster, I went to TDO and did a search for "Gary Hilton". This bit of news is buried under Local briefs from October 18th in the middle paragraph. The next paragraph was about Cash for Trash. Residents were invited to bring large trash items that don't fit in
their 96-gallon garbage container to the Solid Waste Services facility,
2727 Municipal Way. Residents could get two 20-watt (75-watt equivalent)
Energy Star compact florescent light bulbs in exchange.

Bob couldn't have found a better section to place (or hide) the Hilton news. Now I know what Hilton is worth if I were able to haul him to Solid Waste Services. geek

GeorgiaPeach, I finally solved the mystery of the name of the odd older guy (now age 64 or 65) that lived in the A-frame house in Chamblee, GA back around 1978/1979 that was hanging out with Chamblee High School male teenagers. His name is Bob Kimball. There is some interesting background on him also. He left Georgia around 1986 or 1987 and moved to Florida. He now resides in Pensacola, Florida, but he also lived in Hosford, Florida (Liberty County - Highway 20 runs through that small town which is west of Tallahassee).

PostSubject: UNIDENTIFIED BONES FOUND in 2007   Sun Dec 07, 2008 2:33 pm

I found this article on unidentified bones in Florida that were found December 17, 2007.

Bones found in Winter Beach last year unlikely to be identified

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The bones found almost one year ago in Winter Beach are unlikely ever to be positively identified, officials with the state Medical Examiner's Office in Fort Pierce said Wednesday.

On Dec. 17, 2007, a worker found the bones in a wooded area near 71st Street and Old Dixie Highway. The collection included a skull, two tibias and a left rib, none of which had flesh on them, officials said.

The Indian River County Sheriff's Office said no clothes or jewelry were found nearby. The Sheriff's Office wasn't able to make comparisons to anyone on the county's missing person list, and the discovery of the bones did not generate many calls from the public, spokesman Jeff Luther said.

The bones were sent earlier this year to the University of Florida's anthropology department. Currently, the Federal Bureau of Investigation is checking the bones, state officials said. However, the federal agency told the state the bones had a lack of DNA. FBI officials did not give the state a firm date for when they would conclude their research into the bones, state officials said.

Cheryl Dunlap remembered on anniversary of her death

http://www.tallahassee.com/article/20081215/NEWS01/812150317/1010

".... A receptionist, Renese Johnson, was helping another nurse reorganize the office this summer when they discovered a fitted mask in a plastic bag belonging to Dunlap.

"We both just looked at it," Johnson said. "We're going to run into stuff like this for a while. (The nurse) was like, 'I just can't get rid of it.'"

Hedman has had similar moments...."

I found it odd that a reference was made to a "fitted mask" without clarifying what type of mask this is or why Cheryl would have a "fitted mask". Please allow me to do the job of the newspaper and clarify information on this "fitted mask".

The "fitted mask" would have to be a respirator mask. This special mask is designed to filter out very small particles, such as tuberculosis causing bacillus. This type of mask is denser and is usually shaped to the face, as opposed to the non-woven or paper masks more commonly used.

The respirator masks are available in disposable form or with replaceable filters. They are fitted for the individual to obtain a face seal.

Maybe one she had in her car?
