| RAEL: I remember him giving me actually those words.
DORNIN (on camera): What words?
RAEL: I'm the hunter. Where's the challenge.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP) DANNY FENDLEY, ACTOR: I'm a hunter, Barbara. Where's the challenge?

| Thanks for posting that transcript Tazebell. Ahh yes Charles Samuel Rael, lawyer, producer of bad low-budget films, and friend of Mack for over two decades. I wonder if Sammy is more than just a peripheral bit player in Mack's life? I think it might be interesting to look at his home phone and cell phone records for the last year or two. More of the transcript: Producer Samuel Rael says more than 15 years ago Hilton told him...
SAMUEL RAEL, PRODUCER: Go ahead and let some beautiful women out in the woods and then they could be hunted down like prey.
DORNIN: This is the Gary Hilton Rael says he knew. Bearded, lean and obsessed with the outdoors. Rael is an attorney. He says Hilton was one of his first clients and they became friends. Rael defended him on a number of cases from trespassing to arson.
RAEL: Everything Gary did was crazy and unusual and odd. But, not in a way where you would think it would be violent.
DORNIN: Rael says Hilton lived in the storage space in Atlanta and often took camping trips in the woods. He says Hilton gave him the location for shooting the film.
(on camera): And in fact, this is all in the woods.
RAEL: There, that one he helped find the cabin which is very difficult to find. Notice how old Mack seems to know where a lot of vacant houses and shelters are located. _________________ Wonder is the gateway to knowledge..

| I swear I read some things from Rael that had more references to "games" and "hunting" but looks like I am going to have to put my sane brain in and find it. But think back to Hilton's interview with Georgia LE - about once you are caught, why kill them? or words to that effect - which go back to this whole concept of what hilton was engaged in. tabor and he made mention of "games" more than once. what was this game? what's the challenge for the hunter? Seriously, what would the answer be for such a question? what is the challenge for a hunter? what would be the reward? the prize? |

************************************************************************************************************************************ A hunter's challenge is his quest. The quest is to kill __________ (perhaps a lynx). Sometimes there are additional parameters, such as type of weapon (bow, knife, gun, etc.), and the amount of time to complete your quest.
A hunter's reward/prize is either a trophy for the home or $$$ (bounty hunters).
******************************************************************************************************************************* For your consideration: If life often imitates art or really bad movies, couldn't life also imitate video games like such as A Hunter's Boast, A Hunter's Challenge, or Vyrin's Revenge?

| "Without going into detail, Rothwell said that the methods used to kidnap and kill Emerson and Dunlap don’t mesh with the facts of the Grinstead investigation. " from Albany Herald article Jan 12, 08- GBI wants to talk with Hilton. That little bit came from an agent on the Grinstead case. Methods don't match? We have heard about Meredith's abduction if we take hilton at his words, so are we to assume Cheryl's was along the same lines? It seems like there was a fight in Tara's bedroom, so she wasn't taken without a fight either so I am having to ponder on that this morning. Really, you gotta wonder how LE could dismiss so much about Tara's case when very little is known. |

| Either more is known about the Grinstead case than is being let known to the public OR LE hasn't considered that methods don't have to match. A hunter (murderer) that wants to be challenged as well as challenge the skills of LE (outwit LE) would take on different quests. At least that's MHO of how GMH would play "the game." _________________ Wonder is the gateway to knowledge..

SEVERAL GOOD DAYS TOGETHER ACTUALLY.
ACTUALLY SHE DID NOT HAVE A UNPLEASANT TIME . .CONSISTENT WITH BEING . . .
KIDNAPED. NOT AN UNPLEASANT, SHE COOPERATED, WE, WE DID
ALL THE CAMPING ACTIVITIES TOGETHER."
looking back over the transcript from the car ride with LE and this phrase always jumped out at me. I have taken the liberty of stringing his phrases together (edited out LE) - rem how Rael says so much of what hilton said/did is word for word from the movie? I have always wondered if this phrase is in that video masterpiece. I have never watched it.

| Tazebell - if you have Netflix, you can borrow Deadly Run. IAmNoOne did suffer through watching that really bad independent film and gave us a review several months ago. Perhaps IANO can remember if that phrase was in the film. Shifting gears back to the Tara Grinstead case, I went to Zimbo and read some of the articles. Then I viewed the Nancy Grace footage of the inside of Tara's house which was said to have been left exactly as it was the night of her abduction in October 2005. This part of the article stood out, because it refers to Cheryl and Meredith. While the two victims Hilton is suspected of murdering were apparently abducted and killed in wooded areas, Grinstead was last seen at her home in Ocilla after a local beauty pageant.I had asked a few months ago if it was possible that on that warm and beautiful Saturday afternoon, December 1, 2007, if Cheryl couldn't have stopped at Leon Sinks on her way back to Wakulla County. Perhaps to enjoy nature and sit and read her new book. Two things came to mind when I watched the film clip inside Tara's home. First of all, the outside of the house reminded me of some of those rental houses on Campus Circle behind W. Tennessee Street. Second, a man had definitely been in Tara's house, and he was the last person to use her toilet, because the seat is completely up. http://www.zimbio.com/pilot?ID=rCl_UxW0RNw&ZURL=/Tara+Grinstead/news&URL=http%3A%2F%2Fus.rd.yahoo.com%2Fdailynews%2Frss%2Fsearch%2F%2522Tara%2BGrinstead%2522%2FSIG%3D12mrep4om%2F*http%253A%2F%2Fwww.cnn.com%2F2008%2FCRIME%2F09%2F30%2Fgrace.beauty.missing%2Findex.html%3Feref%3Drss_crime

| Hey, Have you guys read the Webstueths threads on Tara Grimstead? They are rather lengthy....But very informative! That was a great observation about the toilet seat being UP. I made notes while opening the many included News stories! I really think that the out of town, married LE guy that she was involved with was the one who Knows what really happened. I think she left with him, after a possible disagreement/struggle. He claims to have ridden in the car..ALL night..with his cop buddy. They are each other's alibis. I really believe in the 'Blue Code of Silence".. All LE's stick up for each other like crazy. I know this because my first husband was a cop! If she was hurt in the house the 2 cops could have gotten her out together. Or one could have gone back to her house the "set things right." Thus leaving the Rubber Glove that was found on her front lawn. If anyone is interested, I will go back a review my notes or the threads. Then answer any questions. IMHO. I do not think GMH had anything to do with her disappearence. The saddest thing was that her poor mother died a few months ago, without evry knowing what happened to Tara. RIP..Tara Grimstead |

Many people there love and miss her very much. Here are details on that. May she rest in peace." The map is the one prepared by Sleddogs (doesn't have those women recently mentioned in the recent "big bend unsolved crimes" article. These are comments left to this entry. >>sound familiar? |

| Hi Tally...I have not checked in for a while...yes, Chicago politics are interesting, but the planetarium thing is not that big a deal...was very outdated, and the one in NYC cost a bundle to update too. All politicians get money for their home projects when they can.... Now as for Rezko, the word on the street is that he is going to take our governor down, is turning state's evidence as we speak. A good thing, as our governor is an idiot. Another of our recent governors is in prison for fraud...a Republican, and he ended the death penalty here! Go figure that one.... Stuart Levine? I was recently in his mansion for an estate sale...pretty nice house, to say the least.... I read many sources for my news on this local political stuff, liberal and conservative....from Fox News to the New York Times...... just like criminal sleuthing, ya gotta look everywhere! |

| Hello, This is very Interesting! Located in the Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, on page 4A ( Local/Florida page heading, in the center of the page under BRIEFS) in the hard copy (yes I do read it & TDO, What a Geek! lol) of the Tallahassee Democrat: Democrat opposing motion to keep Hilton evidence sealed: Michael Glazer, a lawyer for the Tallahassee Democrat, is opposing Gary Michael Hilton's request to keep evidence in his case closed to the public until trial. Hilton, accused of killing Crawfordville resident Cheryl Dunlap last year, filed the motion throught his lawyers. The evidence is sealed by court order for 90 days from when the defense receives it. The Democrat is asking that the defense be as specific as possible about the evidence they want to remain cloosed. I was on TDO several times yesterday and this WAS NOT listed ther in any of the rotations. Why, I do not know! Maybe it was put in there for a filler? Is this perhaps a new filing? I am tempted to call the Tallahassee Democrat News Desk & ask them! I am thinking that the editor, Bob G, is following the directions of our Sherifff, Larry Campbell, to keep down the horrible "online chatter" in relation to Cheryl's case & GMH! This is a mystery to me! When I go on TDO, it may be on there today. I just wanted to let the out of town guys know about this! I did not read all the posts on here yet, but I hope everyone is doing OK! |
