It seemed there issues other than the 'possible victims of Hilton' map which led to that decision. I remember some speculation that was posted. We probably do not have enough detail about Hilton to generalize based on what we know of the murders of Cheryl Dunlap, Meredith Emerson, and John and Irene Bryant. No one knows where Rossana Miliani was taken from, but a store clerk remembers seeing her being with someone who resembled Hilton. Patrice Endres was working in her hair salon when she disappeared, and another hairdresser in that area had an encounter with Hilton last December. It seems Hilton is an opportunist, and while he often camps in National Forests or on private land, the abductions might occur from a home, in a store parking lot, on a trail, or beside a river. Meredith's body was found in land owned by the city of Atlanta, in the Wildcat Tract of Dawson Forest, which is not a National Forest. Possibly extortion should be added to our list of Hilton's behaviors as well.

GeorgiaPeach-what surprises me in a way, and then again maybe not, is why he didn't take "advantage" of being at your home and stealing from you when you weren't looking? Do we really believe he only went after these folks for the $300 he would get from their ATM? Seems if he was just a thief he would have stolen whenever he had the chance. Have you ever seen evidence of Tabor doing siding work in Florida as well?

Also, did you ever hear where these "storage units" were that he was living in back when he hooked up with Rael?

Hilton would not have had a chance to steal, because there never was a moment when I was not watching! We did worry about someone coming back later. We went out of our way trying to be as friendly as possible, in hopes it would deter plans to steal.

Tabor is just a complete fool! He really has no idea how closely I studied Mack, but he actually should because he claims his people were so bothered by my watching that they couldn't do their work right. He claims I told them where to put every nail in that deck. I guess he will regret having claimed that now, because by his own words if I really was in his face that much I do have good reason to recognize Hilton. I never did what he claims, he exaggerated a whole lot to try to make his interference defense sound strong, I guess he thought saying that would work for his benefit but NOW it won't!

I have been thinking about the storage units Rael talked about and his picture of the unit. I am looking at property records to see where Rael lived at the time. Looks like Rael owned in the early-mid 1990's a duplex at 1029 & 1031 Austin Ave and Euclid Ave, and a house at 664 Johns St. and Elm St. both in Atlanta. I really wonder if there is a storage unit still out there since Hilton talks about the generator and the 7 foot hand truck in that interview and I don't believe those were found in his stuff. Obviously the generator was likely for use on jobs and something he valued. He could have sold it to get cash. The keys they found in his stuff could help lead them to a current storage unit but I wonder if they are looking. I would be willing to bet Tabor knows where it is!

I asked Tabor about work in Florida and he said yes, there is lots of work down there due to hurricanes. He assured me he would be here to supervise our job and not be in Florida at the time, but he never came to supervise. Tabor showed up on only 2 days, during the 3 week period. The day they poured the cement, and one day about the siding and deck. Hilton was here and was seen by Tabor on both days, even though Tabor just popped in and popped out real quick.

For purposes of this board, I think the admission that Tabor had business down here to be very valuable.

As to the storage unit, I think I mentioned here, Would be interesting. Most everybody I know that does construction has some storage somewhere,be it a barn or a little house they let some old guy live in. When I lived in Columbia SC there was a storage biz that was a little older, not one of the new fancy ones, and most of their customers were bands, what we call garage bands - but without the garages. At least not connected to private dwellings. I thought of Jimbo B and wondered where they practiced?

I don't thing Hilton had a key to the unit when arrested -that was long ago. And remember, it was before all these big name self storage facilities set up shop, with keys and automatic gates and cameras. They were just buildings with garage doors. And most likely? Owned or Rented by Tabor before he set up shop in the house in Atlanta. Have you looked into when he did this? I bet it was his storage space, like I said just about anybody involved in construction have someplace. Also rem you can't "live" in one, without electricity. Older units have a light in the ceiling, and renters screw in one of those adapters so power cords can run off the light fixture (that is how the bands used all their electric guitars and mics and amps).
