I’m here and have been exploring all the gadgets for administrator. If anyone missed a post I had a few days ago, my user name “Daffodil” was the name my 8-year-old daughter picked out for our new Basset Hound puppy, which later turned into Daffy. When I initially registered for the 1st TDO forum, I had a picture in my head of Daffy when she was running in the woods, nose to the ground, long ears flapping while she was following the scent of a rabbit. She just wouldn’t give up. I needed a user name that would be easy for me to remember, so I became Daffodil. I'm usually on late at night and the weekends. I want to share something that has been percolating in my mind (in a minute or two).

I'm here. When my Georgia friends make it to this forum, please let me know. I may not be on here too long tonight.

Hi TallySleuth! I'm glad you're here. I too am getting sleepy and starting to write funny.

I was thinking about the people on the TDO forums and now this new one. People who began to comment and question the articles written in the Democrat concerning the disappearance, search and tragic discovery of Cheryl Dunlap. I remember when fsu_dee started the Cheryl Dunlap Case forum that grew to 329 pages!
I had the feeling that almost everyone who read and posted comments, was there because they just wanted to HELP in someway. I for one felt connected because I live in Crawfordville, my step-son attended the River of Life church and I have a friend who used to live across the street from Cheryl. I didn’t really feel like I had anything important to contribute, but I was fascinated by the intelligence of the posters (except for a couple).

I have been so impressed by the writing abilities of people like Grace and Sarah. Both have such quick wit! I wish I had that! Bandmom, your loving nature shines through your words, and the way you come up with possible scenarios! I kept thinking, “I wish I’d thought of that!” Grumpy, I respect your direct to-the-point comments and advice. Thanks again for setting up this new forum, and yes it does feel peaceful.

Chaires was always nice to me and acknowledged whatever weird comment I had, ( many of my posts were really late at night and I would get so sleepy that my posts sounded like gibberish or maybe they really were gibberish?)
Bookworm and Kev15, you two are great researchers! I promise I will mention everyone as time goes on, but my point is this:


All of us came together because of the injustice of some worthless, heartless, evil, ugly drifter, taking the life of an amazing, loving, giving person named Cheryl, but over time we have become a group of friends. It’s true, each one of us alone is just an armchair CSI, but together, as a group, each contributing their own set of special skills, WE ARE SOMETHING! Together we can make things happen, all of us.

And yes, I have some good ideas coming up, JMO ☺

Great sentiment Daffodil! I have always found most of the posters on Cheryl's forum to be very sincere and well intended. Its amazing how such a tragedy can bring people together.
That is truly something special and .... divine.

BandMom I'm working on changing my avitar. I certainly don't want it to remind people of the camo truck. By the way, a person I know had seen a truck like the camo truck in question and reported it via email to LCSO at least a couple of weeks before Christmas. This person said the camo truck had a tag with a county from the metro Atlanta area. It also had a hard white spraying unit on/in the truck bed like one that would be used for pest control or lawn spraying. This person's comment was, "it must have been a @#!! of a job to have to drive down from Atlanta." Does anyone know anything further on this camo "truck of interest"?

BandMom...thanks, and you didn't offend me. I feel more like Alice anyway, because things just keep getting curiouser and curiouser. Yes, it could be a "spray unit" for auto paint. No doubt in my mind that other people are involved in Cheryl's case. Also, I think there is a possible drug angle as well as a possible occult angle.

The listings of the corporations of Rael and Taber at 230 Peachtree Street reminded me of the bizarre (and that is a polite word) attorney neighbor I had in Vinings (a suburb of Atlanta) in 1985 and 1986. He only worked part-time as an attorney (1p.m. - 5 p.m M-F). His office was listed at 235 Peachtree Street (The Gas Light Tower). He was involved in the occult (Chickens were found with their heads
severed behind our complex "The Lakes". They were used in rituals. People came and went at all late hours of the night and early morning. I would often wake up in the early a.m. hours to weird music with a heavy bass beat and the smell of incense coming up through the bathroom vents. Also, one time the maintenance man couldn't get in Mr. B's front door with the key, so he went around to the window to try and get in. He later told me there was a human skeleton in the corner of the bedroom. He refused to go back to Mr. B's unit. Management verified these things after numerous letters had been written and security had been called by several neighbors. An animal rights group had been contacted about the chickens by a neighbor). I hadn't thought about these things in years, because it was a very stressful living situation, but the 230 Peachtree Street address brought back memories of that freaky Atlanta attorney.
