Great site-my primary interest started with Gary hilton and of course now that he will
be charged in the Dunlap case, I am following that also. I appreciate being allowed to post here.
This seems much easier to use than the newspaper forum.

That is my opinion base on what i read as an obserbver at BBC. I'll admit i have no clue what went on with the admin panel and the reindeer games that were played...I play with balls of yarn sent to me all the time swatting them to and fro..see if they roll back or unravel.
I do know his clarity did shine in all the words that were flying. I don't make close personal relationships with people that i can't see their eyes. If this happend to you or your friends-may you learn from it. I hold and am in possession of all my energy at all times. From the sub atomic quantom particle that i am, i know i walk in the light. And i don't understand why you had to bring the negativity to this peaceful new forum...all over a suggestion. Usually the ones screaming about the games are the ones that couldn't control it to their own liking. If you want to speak to me i suggest you use the PM function to communicate and keep it off this forum. And may the approaching full moon energy not send you into a full on meltdown my dear.

This is not the place for personal squabbles. Lets keep this forum on track. What happened in the past is in the past. What happens today is what really matters.

Who is going to put ALL the posts from TDO and ?BBC? (if that's ok with them) over here? I think as one stumbles upon any information it should be transfered, not only from TDO and BBC, if allowed from both forums, but from other forums as well?
Maybe there is something like that already that I've missed?
Or, at least post a link to TDO and BBC for people to go read those forums instead of transferring everything?
Just a thought.

Thank you Sarah. It would not be called a forum if everyone agreed. I have no problem with putting links from the different forums on here and you are correct that it would be easier on everyone to leave them where they are and let people go to the different places to read.

This forum software is much like the software that I use on BBC and in time many will find that it is quite easy to use. Unlike TDO you can post pictures,videos,flash animations and much more that even I have yet to figure out. This site like many will evolve and it will only happen through the combined efforts of all the members.

Each of us have our own expertise and like so many others we all are still in the learning stages of doing something new.

Several members have asked about also bringing over the Ali Gilmore and Mike Williams people as well and I will leave that up to the members to decide.

Just to let everyone know. Do not leave what you consider to be a private message on TDO. I found that all messages left can be read by anyone with very little knowledge of how a forum is run. I was able to see all messages left for Bandmom by others (I did not read them). All one has to do is have someone leave you a message and when you are in the message area you can click on their avatar and it will show you all the messages they have received from different members.

I will be making a general chat area on here so as to keep all this area clear for the Cheryl Dunlap case. I will move everything that is now in here to there.

Gilmore/Williams stuff. That's fine by me...
I knew about the TDO and posting...knew it wouldn't be private, but don't think others realized that..thanks for posting the info.

This forum is off to a good start. Grumpy has done a fine job as usual. I like the suggestions for links to the other Dunlap forums - especially the ones at BBC b/c there are some clearly marked files for maps, newspaper articles, timelines, etc. That is what I always liked about the BBC site, it was easy to go back and find something you wanted to read again. But I don't think we need to copy all that info over to this forum, a link should be sufficient along w/a link on BBC to here if that's okay w/Grumpy.

I have hesitations on bringing any other cases to this forum since it is named for Cheryl. Both Ali and Mike have spots on TDO and other personal websites. It doesn't seem necessary. JMHO

I have already told the 255 members of BBC to come here and sign-up and I will put a link on BBC for here. Some have already signed up here. I am open for any other suggestions for this forum that anyone has. Most of what we have done here was and is for the ease of use for those members who are overwhelmed by being on a real forum. If some one can not figure out how to do something then just ask and I or Daffy will try and help. Perhaps, we will make an area like on BBC for help which came in handy on several occasions. I would rather some one ask for help than to get so frustrated in trying to do something and leave.

The nice thing about this type of forum is that after you make a post it automatically refreshes so that you can see when some one else posts.
